Basmati-515
This rice variety was approved for general cultivation in 2011 by the Rice Research Institute, Kala Shah Kaku. It is taller than Super Basmati, offers better cooking quality, and has a higher yield. The variety matures 4–5 days earlier than Super Basmati, with a productivity of 65 mounds per acre. The plant height is 130 cm, and the grain length is 7.56 mm.
