Key Features of KSK-133
KSK133 Rice Variety – Developed by RRI Kala Shah Kaku
RRI Kala Shah Kaku developed the high-yielding, stiff-stemmed, and extra-long grain rice variety KSK133. It was released for general cultivation by the Punjab Seed Council and the Variety Evaluation Committee (VEC) in 2006. In regional adaptability trials, KSK133 demonstrated a yield of 5.5 t/ha. The variety is highly tolerant to major diseases such as paddy blast and bacterial leaf blight.

KSK133 features bold grains with high head rice recovery during milling, making it suitable for both domestic and export markets.
